Bruce Golding- file Prime Minister of Jamaica Bruce Golding has told Parliament that there are no immediate plans by the local law enforcement authorities to pursue legal action against former Olint boss David Smith.

The Attorney General’s Chambers has lost its bid in the Supreme Court to have the frozen assets of Hallmark Trust and OLINT TCI be placed in a separate and untouchable account, so that in the event the bank is liquidated, the Crown would still get the entities’ $9.5 million in asset.

Prosecutors in the United States have indicted David Smith the embattled head of the failed foreign currency trading scheme Olint on 23 charges in the United States.
